I don't know if someone has experienced this or has been able to get around this issue before.

I have both a digital receptionist and ring group that are working as desired. But when a caller connects to any of them and disconnect the call before the prompt or announcement is finished, then there is no email notification sent, no call history. There is absolutely nothing to show such call ever happened, and this is concerning.

Thank you.

If caller drops the call before it's connected to a RG or Q (never leaves the IVR) then you wont be notified of a missed call.

This defeats the purpose of basic telephony, as long as the number rings, then you must be notified of a missed call.

Whether the calling party decides to leave a message or not, or continue to a RG or Q is not relevant. Such calls should be treated as a missed call and someone in the relevant dept, say a receptionist can be designated to receive such notification or at the worst be in the call history for such designated person.

Did this get resolved?
I do agree that if you receive a phone call, a record should be made so you can call back calls you missed, i thought that must be the case anyway and now find myself astonished this basic function is missing!
Customer just contacted me to say "why cant i see missed calls anymore" she thinks they used to show but now don't, i don't know what to tell her...

i've just checked this on my mobile app. Calls to Q are not showing if missed, only when answered.
