Missed Calls

Hello

I'm experiencing problems with missed calls.

My client uses GRP2612 phones and Android+iOS apps + Windows apps

Problem is, even if somebody answers the calls, the others are getting it as a missed call, causing them to call back customers already spoken to.

The call flow setup is like this.

SIP -> IVR -> One of a few Ring Groups(ring all) -> One Extention
Destination if no answer for all ring groups is set to an external number.

Did anybody else face issues like this ? If yes, can you please tell me what you did to sort it out ?

Use a queue instead of ring group to remove the missed call. That's the expected behavior.

Thank you Frederick. I find this a bit akward... but if this is the case, this is what I'll do.

That's the normal behavior of a ring group. The queue can do the same but be more intelligent.
