What is the reasoning behind allowing a moderator to UNMUTE the MIC and ENABLE the CAMERA? It seems like a great invasion of privacy to allow users to enable. I understand turning them off, but turning them on should not be allowed.

I'd love a button to be able to force mute all participants, and force-off all participant cameras without having to click on each one.

The reverse would then "unlock" participants to be able to unmute themselves and turn on their camera on themselves. When "locked" they would only be able to chat and raise their hand.

The "god" (small g) feature of being able to turn off and on audio and cameras can be helpful (and I think justified, at least with audio) in order to "help" and non tech savy participant. However, it should prompt the participant that the moderator is trying to unmute or enable the camera and the participant should have to agree before the action is taken.

Thoughts?

Great to see that 3CX has removed the ability to blindly turn on another person's mic and camera! That was a very fast turnaround!

Confirmed, the user now sees a request and has to approve it first.
