MOTO C Android 7 what client version can I install?

So I gather the Android version 18 client requires a newer Android version than 7, the play store won't even show it if I look on my phone.

Unfortunately I made the mistake of removing V16 before I realised I couldn't update. The store won't let me reinstall V16.

Currently I've loaded Version 16.7.6.105 which was the newest V16 I found in "apk" form.

FWIW I believe the server is up to date.

Maybe I just need a new phone.

You need a new phone The app wont work with v16 anyway in a few weeks so you are wasting your time.

Get a free startup, install latest app and you will have great quality voice and then spend he money on a new Android phone, gonna cost you just a few hundred euros

The server's V18 anyway, locally hosted and it should be up to date. I made the jump from 16 earlier in the year and also took the opportunity to move to newer hardware and run on Windows but that's another story.
