Hello
I have a hosted (OVH) 3cx. I try to move it to a new Server (also new public IP)

My Steps:
  • Backup from my old 3cx (with and without FQDN)
  • Build a new Debian 8
  • Install 3cx
  • At the configuration i take Restore from a Backup
When i connect to 3cx all the time comes this Setup:

i tryed with and withoud FQDN to restore.

What do i wrong?

Thanks
Michael

Hi Michael,

And the version you backed up from and want to install to are the same (15.5):

If you select the extension range you are wanting to use (which should also be in the backup) does it proceed and have your backup in the system or is it a brand new PBX ?

Did you get any error's when taking the backup that you noticed ?

Hello @Username

You should restore the backup without the licence and FQDN as the network configuration will change on the new machine.
The screen you are getting is normal as it it the initial setup. Please complete that and let us know if your configuration is present in the PBX
