Is there any step by step directions posted to move?

To avoid having to reconfigure firewall rules... I am just going to give the new 3Cx server the old LAN IP of the current server, and change IP of old server.

My current backup file is only 400MB so it should be quick. But phone calls are 24/7/365, so I would like to complete as quick as possible.

First thing, you can not have two servers running at the same time with the same license - you will have issues with licensing

Basically,

You backup your existing configuration, move to location where you can access it
Switch off the old server
Change IP of Windows 10 machine to old server IP
Install 3CX using the option 'Restore of existing backup'

that works...quick and easy...thanks for the link!

My backup was about 400mb. Restore was about 12 minutes.
But if you backup and calls are still coming in - then your history and such may be lacking.

I did it last night and it took about the same...15 minutes or so. Quick and painless! Thanks!
