I want to install SIP servers on two PCs on a LAN. In this way, I will have two servers (SERVER 1 and SERVER 2) running on different PCs.

Is there a way to communicate these two servers so that a client which is registerd to SERVER 1 can call another client which is registered to SERVER 2?

Moving this to the General Forum as it is related to the 3CX Server and not the VoIP Phone.

The majority of SIP devices that I've seen can only register with one server at a time. (the Sipura SPA1001 did allow two device registrations with switching between with an access digit, but, it's been discontinued) There are some that you can enter a back-up server address, but you can't make use of both at the same time. So for a set-up that you are attempting, I believe , that both PBX's , even though they reside on the same LAN, would have to be bridged via trunks as if they resided in two different parts of the world. You could set up a dialplan on both boards so that calling from one to the other would be transparent to the users.

Surely a bridge between the two servers would work?
