Multicast to Cisco 79X2 via cnf.xml

Good afternoon all, quick question, is it possible to set multicast on 7942 and 7962 phones via cnf.xml? I have done some research, but everything I can find requires call manager to set it. I have found other information on paging via cnf.xml, but they don't work right with 3CX (settled on using an alternate extension with auto-answer). Any help would be appreciated.
