Hello all,

Contacted my current 3cx partner/reseller to help us implement the DTMF dialing (dtmf.cs) for the V.20 Digital Receptionist. Their response was "you should roll back to V18."

Hence, I'm looking for a new provider. It's a small implementation for 15 people, hosted on Amazon. Not looking for anything more than call scripts implement for call queues, DR, etc.

Thanks in advance.

You dont really need a partner to do this!

Just download the script from the PBX store and modify the values yourself.

essentially, dialling 1234 in the example shown which is from the script will trigger extension 100

So if you want the user to dial 1 to connect to your queue (which as an example is extension 800, just put { "1", "800" },

Alot of people are intimidated by the scripts but for the basics its as simple as that!

Thats true, its really simple to implement by yourself. But anyway, i would change my partner if they answer like that.

I appreciate the advice. Its more an issue of having the time to fiddle with it.

Just tell em to sort it or you'll roll back to another partner

We found the solution to the issue we had.

Some of the employees had not recorded self ID message (recording your name). This prevented the dial by name function for working for those extensions.

Thats very different to the original request in this thread though, isnt it?

So much has changed from V18 to V20, sometimes it's hard to wrap your head around what is the right way to ask the question.
