New 3CX Desktop App and Microsoft Endpoint Manager Configuration Manager (MECM)

Hi,

We are using MECM for desktop- and software-deployment (Windows 10). As the new 3CX desktop app installs into the appdata area in the user profile, it is impossible to utilize MECM for the deployment of the app. It was ok for the old 3CX phone app, because it was installed into the global program data area. To use GPO instead is no option for us. It is absolutely neccessary to be able to deploy the client with management tools like MECM in larger organisations. Do you allready have a version of the client that settles on the device in the "old" programdata path?

Hi Sven,

There is no other version of the Desktop App.
For the time being we have catered for Terminal Server environments as explained here:

Thanks for your answer. The terminal server approach is definitely not a solution for us. I hope that some other customers agree with me.
