Hi Everyone!

I have a weird scenario here, i migrated my instance to Hosed about a Week Ago, everything worked good, but today i tried to Add a new Inbound Rule into the PBX and i am now getting this message:

"In order to add an Inbound Rule, a SIP Trunk must be created first. Go to SIP trunks and Add SIP Trunk."

Everythin is working my thrunk's are there and working but now i cant add new Rules, any ideas

Thanks Daniel

@DBeaubien the new DID you want to setup, did you specify if on the DIDs tab of the SIP Trunk ?
Because even if you have the SIP Trunk and you dont specify the new number on the DIDs tab of this particular SIP Trunk, then this message will come up.

Thank's for the input but i was miss understood

My system was already working months before i migrated to hosted, after migration everything kept working besides the error message i got, i will delete my trunks and reinstall them to see what result i get

Thank's anyways

@DBeaubien do a test please. Setup on your SIP Trunk>> DIDs tab a new number like " 1234567890 " .
Then go to Inbound Rules and add one, do you still have the same issue ?
Let me know please.

Yap it worked, that meens that there is a part that did not transfer when i went to hosted, now for the real trunks, i wil have to delete the main did and recreate the rules right, i'll try this later today dont have time right now and system is working

Thank's for the input, much appreciated

@DBeaubien excellent that this worked !!! This means there is no issue on the PBX side :)
Now what I suspect is that, lets say you took a backup last night..
Today you added more numbers to the SIP Trunk but during deployment to hosted, you used the backup of last night.. So yes new numbers are not ported in to the new PBX.
Make the validation and check it or you may go to your previous PBX, export the DIDs and import them all to the Hosted PBX, simple as that..
Ensure that the Trunk number ( lets say 10001 ) will be the same and wont change..
If changed, then change it in the spreadsheet or edit the .csv in Notepad++, change the Trunk number, import it and you r good to go !!!

Thank's for th explanation

Like i said, the PBX was UP and running on OVH for month's prior to moving it to HOSTED, i wanted to try it before migrating customers, like i said there is no apparent issues so far (migrated two week's ago) besides the issue regarding inbound rules

Migration even fixed an issue that i never could put my finger on regarding DIAL IN'S in Webmeeting

Thank's again for the input's
