Hi all - I am testing a trail 4SC PRO - On a hosted 3CX server. I followed the guides and can make internal calls. I can also receive incoming calls. I got that going within 10min of spinning up the trail and following the guides. The issue is the outgoing calls. I Can not get this to work. I have been at this for 2 days. Tried everything else I can think of with no results.

Twilio support says my call attempts are not generating call logs on my account, but I am waiting back on their response since it does mention this in one of the logs (pic attached)

I followed this guide - https://www.twilio.com/en-us/blog/build-voip-system-twilio-3cx-python and also all the other official docs from 3CX and Twilio. I tried changing my outbound rules as well, and nothing seems to work. The guides show different things to configure since I guess they were not updated to v20 to show the GUI changes.

This is what shows in the 3CX event log
Call or Registration to 347xxxxxxx@(Ln.10000@Twillio SIP) has failed. sip:54.172.60.3:5060;lr replied: Bad Request (400)

Any ideas on what else I can check\try. Very frustrating
Thank You

Hi @pcam

From the event log you provided the error comes from Twilio's IP indicating that they are rejecting the call so my suggestion would be to check with them what is causing this.

On the screenshot you can see the number isnt correctly formatted. Ask twillio which format they want to use und configure your outbound rules accordingly.

Thanks guys, yea it was a format issue. This is what twilio recommended. It started to work right away.
Pic is for anyone who might come across this same issue when using twilio

Can you confirm the number digits make the length of the numbers?

Hello Everyone,

Can anyone help me with the configrations.
Inbound call are working fine but outbound calls giving busy tone.
I am using Twillo service with UK sip number.
I have prefix as a '5', strip digit 1, prepend +, with entering UK number format like: 07856998552

Example: 507856998552 , but it giving me busy tone. please assist with the thanks.

Can you pull the log at twillio and 3cx and see what it said?

So you end up calling +07856998552? You need to be calling +447856998552.

You need to strip 2 and prepend +44 to get the desired result

@Yianish Thanks for the reply what should be the call to Numbers with a lenght? i have given 13-14. Is that ok?

I have doubt that i am using demo account of twilio at the moment where incoming calls are ok which i tested from Tiwilo internally feature but outgoing calls are not working. might need to upgrade my demo account to basic and then can try again but not sure.

from where i can pull twillio logs? sorry i am not very familiare with Twillio

There is a monitor tab in Twilio where you can find logs for calls and messages. It should be on the left column in your Twilio portal but since that can edited your portal may vary.

If you are dialing it in the local format then you should decrease the digit length to match what you are dialing.

If you are using the Demo account then you can only dial to verified numbers, meaning numbers you can prove you own. For calls to other numbers you need to upgrade to a paid account.
