Hello,

I'm having a problem with a Granstream GDS3710 doorphone:
- The video works between the GDS3710 and the webclient.
- The video works between the 3CX android app and the web client
- The video works between the 3CX iOS app and the web client
- Video does not work between the GDS3710 and the 3CX android app ...
- Video does not work between GDS3710 and 3CX iOS app ...

My configuration:
3CX v16.0.655 Pro, on-premise
GDS3710 FW: 1.0.7.8, updated by 3CX

Has anyone ever had this problem?

Thank you in advance for your answers ! :)

Here is the GDS7310 config :

The 3CX clients can have video calls between them because all of them are using the same video codec, VP8. In order to have video call between a 3CX client and another phone, that should also support and being configured to use VP8. In the settings above, the Grandstream is configured to use H264, which is not supported by the 3CX client.

Hello,

Thank you for the answer. I actually ended up finding this info.
On the other hand, I am surprised by this choice, despite repeated requests since 2015 for the support of H264, because almost all doorphones and videophone work in H264!
At worst, if it's a licensing issue as some say, add at least minimal MJPEG support! ;) Especially since other solutions do it! ;)

In my case, I will surely lose a market because of this in the pharmaceutical industry, because they want to see the image from their mobile when they are on call!
Just for that...
