Number for Fax and Calls

Is there a way to setup a number that can be used as a call number and a fax number? I have tried to setup a digital receptionist to and have it go to ring group if someone presses number. And if nothing happens I wanted it to go to fax server but that is not an option. I setup a fax extension and tried to have it go straight to emails but it sned vmail as wav file.

This has been asked a few times with a few suggestions put forward, primarily the use of an IVR. There used to be devices (small boxes) available, for PSTN lines that would divert faxes to one jack and voice calls to another, but you'd have to have PSTN line, then split it to two gateway trunks bringing it into 3CX.

Most people simply dedicate a number, for faxes only.

One suggestion here, seems to indicate that they did get it working using an IVR...
