Hi all.

I'm having a weird issue where I've just set up a new 3CX server and I'm getting an "Object not found - Object with specified id was not found" error when I try to change any settings.. If I try to create a new extension, the error pops up. If I try to edit the one current extension I get the same error (screenshot attached). It says your session has probably expired but that's definitely not the case. I've also uploaded a screenshot of the Internal server error that I get when trying to assign a phone to the only extension.

  • 3CX Version, e.g. Standard Annual 16.0.8.9
  • Server OS, Debian 9
  • Is the 3CX Server Hosted and where - On prem
  • IP Phone Make/Model/Firmware - Yealink T40G for testing
  • Provisioning Method: Local
  • Trunk Provider or Gateway Make/Model: Gamma but haven't got this far yet due to above error
  • Has the Firewall Checker passed: Yes
  • Are custom Phone Templates being used: No
Thanks in advance

Just so that we first get a better idea of your current setup, is this a VM or a physical machine? Was it deployed using the 3CX ISO? Also, if a VM, under what hypervisor is it running?

If you're trying to connect using the FQDN while on the local network, try using the local IP instead(https://%local_ip%:%port%), do you get the same error?

Hi Chris,
Thanks for replying. Weirdly, I managed to sort it by logging in to the web client with that extension number and it sorted itself out.
Just as an FYI, It's a VM running on esxi, it was setup using the 3CX ISO and I was already connecting via IP rather than FQDN.

Great, I can't say I know what the issue was exactly, especially since you seem to have deployed this instance as per our guides so everything should've been in order.

In any case, glad to hear you managed to resolve the issue! Please feel free to start a new thread should you require additional assistance or information!
