I need a help ...
It is required to share one extension in 3CX to two IP phones (this task is easy), but it is recommended to make it possible that the other party can join the call from his phone even after the first party of the shared line still in the call.
Does the second part of the task is achievable, if yes how can I do it in 3CX.

The idle extension won't be able to simply pick up the handset, to join an existing conversation, in the same manner as two analogue sets sharing the same line. In fact the idle set won't be able to join as a function such as that would make it too easy for people to listen in on what should be private calls. The in-use extension could try an attended transfer, as 3-way calling, as we know it doesn't really exist in 3CX. The act that both extensions have the same extension number might be an issue, I can't recall if I have tried an attended transfer to the same extension number, you might have to "adjust" the allow extension to accept more that one call, but you will have to test, to confirm. If required you could use two different extension numbers in a ring group

This will not be possible when it is the same extension, but any other extension, given the Barge In, Listen, or Whisper right can enter in to the call.

It might be best to have each device with its own extension put into a ring group and when the other extension wants to join in, they can select to barge in to the call through their web client/desktop app.
