Hello,

I manage two small businesses that share a 3CX host to cut costs. However, we're experiencing an issue where callers transferred out of voicemail or other menus end up being forwarded to different extension. For example, if a caller rings SIP A, then the call is directed to a ring group where no one answers, it goes to voicemail. But occasionally, callers are transferred out of voicemail and subsequently can't receive email notifications for missed calls.

Is it possible to disable this feature?

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi @Brian Cai

Regarding your question, it is not possible to disable this feature.
could you provide guidance on preventing callers from being transferred out of voicemail unexpectedly? or some suggestions that you have concerned

If a customer presses the * button while in the IVR, then they will be transferred to the operator. The default prompt does inform the caller that by pressing * they will get transfered to the operator.

A workaround is to record your own prompt and replace the default one so that the customer does not hear that by pressing * they will get transferred to the operation, but if the caller presses * by accident they will still get transferred to the operator.

Thank you so much. I got that

You are welcome ;)
