Hi,
today i was doing a web meeting via 3cx and there were 4 people in total. I was able to exclude mic and cam but i was not able to enable back the mic and the cam. 2 of them were connected via 3cx webmeeting app Android and one via windows/chrome browser. I had the same problem doing it to the windows user and the phones user. They were able to enable back the cam/mic by their own.
Do I remember correctly that an organiser in the past was able to enable/disable cam/mic? Did 3cx changed the behavior of the web meeting during these days?
regards

Hi,

attendee will be promoted to enable their devices if requested by the host rater then the devices just start without the attendee's approval. This was an overdue feature we are rolling out currently. Sidenote: Mobile APP users cannot be moderated currently but will be available soon.

If your meeting profile is Classroom, then the attendee cannot start by themself the MIC/Web and only if been asked by the host to do so. Commonly the "raise hand" indicator is used by a student to indicate their wish to be "enabled" by the host. If your profile is not Classroom the attended have control by themself to start and stop their own videos.

Ok. Now it is clear why was not working

Since yesterday, it is no longer possible to moderate the participants even in the calssroom. When the moderator enables the web / mic, the participant receives a pop-up to accept or decline the invitation (from a web browser). From the APP the popup does not appear and it is impossible to receive webcam / mic
