Outbond Rules

I am facig this issuem that i have configured outgoing Rule based on extenstion numbers, like 3200-3300 should use rule 1 and extensions 3100-3199 should use rule 2, but if it only pick rule 1 regardless from which extension i am calling. please check if it is a bug or i am doing something wrong.

Extensions 3100-3199 will always use the 1st rule because the extension range is in 3200-3300.

At minimum, you will need to move the 2nd rule up.

further to that if i move rule 2 up then all calls will start going from this rule. i wanted to defince some extenstions should use that rule and some difference.

I miss read your range. Yes, they are two different ranges. Are there any other rules that we can not see?

Hi @farhanrkhan its because you have the same department filter on both rules. That will match and satisfy the rule first.

If you remove department and just use the extension ranges it will work. Otherwise, put those extensions into separate departments.

ok it worked, after removing the Department, but i am using multi-tenant, it should be associated with the department, because after removing department those rules are not showing in that tenant admin interface, but as owner i can see all tenant rules.

i think this issue should be resolved in future versions.

Wait, really? It's supposed to be an AND ... i.e. these extensions AND this department (AND this prefix), not an OR.

I would interpret "cumulative" to mean AND not OR. A "trap for young players" .

I've fallen for that too. It's always an "OR". Either the extensions or the department.
