Outbound Caller ID

I am having an issue with outbound caller id on my trunk with Unlimitel

before on my Elastix server, I was able to set the outbound caller-id on the extension to "Name"<xxxxxxxxxx>

according to Unlimitel, I need to set the P-Asserted Identity: User Part to "OutboundCallerID (taken from extension)"

I've done that and now if the outbound caller id on the extension is anything but a number the call fails.

does anyone know how to get both a name and number to get sent on the outbound call?

In most cases the caller ID is just a phone number, like here in the US +18135551212 or 8135551212, not too sure about out of the US, 3cx does not use <8135551212> make sure to use your real number.

I have it working now with callerid just being a number and it is sending out the User's name .

I liked it before on Elastix where I could set a custom name and number for outbound calls.
