Hey,
I'm trying to setup our system to do the following:
1. Agent dials external number for example 205 123 1234
2. Outbound rules forward all external calls to a single SIP trunk
3. Under caller ID, outbound we have a rule that looks for the source pattern (205)(.*) and then replaces with a caller ID which is local to the number being dialled (example +1 205 111 1111)
4. We have source patterns setup for every US area code that we call under the same SIP trunk
If I manually set the outbound caller ID to +1 205 111 1111 (example) then 3CX extends the correct caller ID to the called party. If I remove the default caller ID and rely on the rule set then this doesn't happen. We aren't using a supported SIP Trunk provider (SignalWire) and have to set From: User Part to "AuthID" otherwise the registration fails. I'd be really grateful if anyone has thoughts on how to solve this!
Thanks,
