Outbound Name Display

I have VOIP.ms truck that allows me to push my own caller ID, in truck outbound parameter i have changed
Remote Party ID - Calling Party : Display Name
Remote Party ID - Calling Party : User Part
reason is I have ring group after ringing extension no answer call get transferred to cell phone, our cell phone carrier offer service display name, so with this setting pbx forwards the DISPLAY name to cell phone, now problem is when I dial from extension I get extension name as display name not company name(caller id number is fine), is there way to change in truck setting , it allows me to set my company name as default name and if call is forward it sends CID name also I have choice in contact APPEND ring group front of DISPLAY Name but comes on end, problem is when caller name is long last (appended ) digits get deleted

The "name" can come from a number of sources...the device making the call, in the extension settings, in the trunk settings, and from an outside caller being forwarded. Some seem to "over-ride" others.There are also a number of outbound trunk settings (combinations) that allow caller ID (name and number) to be taken from different places. The problem is getting the options to work the way you want them, for different types of calls, which, may not happen.

Someone else that uses Voip.ms as their provider may have had the same issue, and can give you a list of changes that worked for them, otherwise you may just have to try various combinations.

You can set a caller ID if you know the SIP field required in the outbound parameters of the PBX as a custom label but it will always send the Companys caller ID which i think is not what you want to achieve. As i understand it you want the companys name as caller ID in direct calls out but want the originator caller when a call is forwarded. Is that correct?

This is correct, I did change it to custom name but then every call gets forward get same name, also when I use apend name it add ring group name to end of caller name problem with that is when caller id name are long it gets cut off is there option to have it front of caller id name

As i have mentioned when you are forcing the caller ID as a custom field the PBX will always use that on outbound calls. You could try prepending the name of the ring group so that the name is at the beginning of the caller ID.
