Outbound Rules Formatting for Australia Mobile no

Hi All,

Could anyone help please?

I just setup 3cx using twilio, but the outbound call to mobile phone in Australia still didn't work.

For example the number as follow: 0404123456

On the outbound rules, I set the number length = 10 and strip 1 digit and prepend with +61, but still not working.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Please provide an example, of what the outbound number looks like from the 3CX Activity Log. There may also be a conflict with other outbound rules. Remember they are read from top to bottom with the first match being taken. The log will also give the name of the rule being used, to help in troubleshooting.

For example test call no as follow 0404123456
04/19/2020 9:42:42 AM - Dialed number (0404123456) belongs to forbidden country (blocked country code = +6140)

I also tried change the prepend for mobile with +61 and +614 and without, empty the prefix, move the mobile rule to the first. but still no luck.

Anything else that I miss out? Thanks.

"belongs to forbidden country" <--- check Settings -> Security -> Allowed Country Codes

It's already ticked on the Allowed country codes.

The problem was it looks like 3cx pick up the first two number from the mobile no as well and make it as country code.

Instead +61 it becomes +6140 - so its become forbidden country code, not sure why.

The outbound rules you posted don't show if you are selecting the rules by the first few digits of the dialled numbers, or simply by the length. Have you also set up 3CX to use E.164? A dialled number won't change unless (somewhere) you have told it to.

Move the mobile phone rules to the top and without 04 on the starting prefix, it works. (But somehow, take me few hours after applied this rule and try again make it work)

The more prefix digits you include in each outbound rule, the more selective they become, but the order , in the rule list is very important. As I said previously, as 3CX goes down the list, it will use the first match.
