Hi All,
I have logged a case with 3CX but I thought I'd post here as well.
I built a test 3CX system, routed some numbers to it from our Cisco Voice Gateway and tested inbound/outbound calling. Everything worked fine, so I built a new server to be production and routed numbers to it. All seemed well, but at some point outbound calls started to drop out on their own after 7 seconds.
After troubleshooting I found that the 3CX server is not send SIP ACKS to the gateway so after its retry period it would drop the call.
If I reboot the SIP Server service ACKS get sent and calls work as normal until it decides to stop again.
Below is a wireshark capture from the server of it when it's broken and when it's working. You can see the highlighted ACK on the right doesn't exist on the left. For this capture the retry amount was 2 as shown by the 2 extra 200 OK's coming from the gateway before it said BYE.
