Hi,

I am new to VOIP

I install 3CX Phone System v3.0.1928.0 with 4 extensions.
I want to use our PSTN line so i bought Linksys SPA3102

Incoming calls works fine.

When i try an outgoing call a get this in log:
15:48:13.062 CallConf::Rejected Call(C:52) is rejected: Service Unavailable
15:48:13.062 StratInOut::onCancel Call(C:52): Call from Ext.103 to 535000 terminated; reason: Service Unavailable
15:48:12.859 CallConf::onIncoming Call(C:52): Incoming call from Ext.103 to sip:[email protected]

What is the problem or where?
in the Linksys config or 3CX config?

Thanks

Most probably, you've defined your PSTN gateway by specifying FQDN name, but it couldn't be resolved on the PC running 3CX. Try to use IP address for that purpose.

Hi Archie!

Thanks for quick answer

I use ip address everywhere

3CX ip: 192.168.1.2
VOIP Gateway
Name : NAVIPSTN1
Gateway Hostname or IP : 192.168.1.8
Gateway Port (default is 5060) : 5061

Linksys SPA 3102 ip: 192.168.1.8
Proxy and Registration
Proxy: 192.168.1.2

Both are connected to the same switch.

192.168.1.2 is SBS2003 server, it runs 3CX, it is a DNS server too.

Thanks

Than please provide our support with logs and settings. From these posts I have no enough info to figure out the reason.

Actually, that 'Service Unavailable' response arises when PBX can not resolve some address. Or, possibly, your PSTN gateway sends this response to PBX by some reason. Try to re-read manual about its setup. I think this device is described. ITFarmer has a lot info about it also.

Thanks

I will read the manual again.

If i can not resolve the problem
I will send the config and the log too.

thanks again

I just got a SPA3102 in the mail this afternoon. I am going to apply the same knowledge I have learned from using a ht-488 to this unit and see if I can get it to work too.

I had a similar problem with the ht-488 and the end result was a incorrect outbound rule

Hi Kucseraz

In SBS 2003, when you execute the "Configure E-mail and Internet Connection Wizard", it offers you to add services because SBS (usually) is done for novice like VPN, Remote access, ......

Have you tried to create new rules from this wizard such as 5060, 7000, ....?

Follow that our use it as pointer and you should be able to get it to work.

For more info, but not complete as yet.

Any problems, post and Ill get back to you for sure.

Hi Henk!

Thanks for the reply.

I follow your instructions, incoming calls works fine + i get the calle number too :)) (in my own setup it was not working)

The outgoing call does not work, same error 503 Service unavailable.

I follow the instructions, all pages, field by field.
Only 1 setp was ignored "line1" is it required?
I do not want to use voip provider!

I need to receive calls from PSTN and some cases make calls on PSTN line.

Thanks

Hi!

I found 1 interesting change in the log:

1. 21:07:00.156 CallConf::Rejected Call(C:C) is rejected: Service Unavailable
2. 21:07:00.156 StratInOut::onCancel Call(C:C): Call from Ext.103 to 535000 terminated; reason: Service Unavailable
3. 21:07:00.140 CallConf::onProvisional Call(C:C): got response from 535000
4. 21:06:59.953 CallConf::onIncoming Call(C:C): Incoming call from Ext.103 to sip:[email protected]

In the past i have only 3 line of log for an outgoing call.

Now i have 4

line 3 is new, but i dont now what does it mean!

Help please

This proves, that your PSTN gateway has been reached and answered to PBX. But the device couldn establish a call. Actually, I think it can not dial 6 digit number, or doesn't "hear" dial tone on the line. So, check your dial plan for the device, and make sure it is able to pick up the line.
"Service Unavailable" is response from the device in this case. Try to read its manual for explanations when it replies with such error code.
