outgoing DTMF problems

For some odd reason I do not seem to be able to send outgoing DTMF. I am using VoIP Unlimited trunk, with an Aastra 480i phone. It is set up as per the recommendations int he manual. Everything works really rather well, except the other end does not detect the outgoing DTMF.

Anyone got any suggestions?

What kind of Gateway are you using?

Ajust the parameter in Gateway to use SIP based transwer of DTMF instead of in-band use.This might help.

If not then talk to your service provider
