Overview SMS service in Europe

I have an existing small SIP system (cloud PBX, various DIDs through europe, very basic). The one killer feature it lacks is SMS integration. Some digging online suggested I look into 3CX.

So far I am confused how all the pieces fit, which providers I need to look into to obtain SMS capable DIDs

Are there guides I can check ?? Nothing jumped out in the FAQ

For now, only SOME providers are supported but more are on the way eventually. A lot were requested.

You can always use voice calls with one provider (perhaps OVH since you're Europe, or many others) and still use SMS with, for example, Telnyx, which offers Hosted SMS (only the SMS part is hosted there.)

Thanks I will have a look and try to find out which provider works with all the countries I may want a mobile number in.
