Depending on how it works, it might work.

If it's a Windows/Mac webcam but that has a panoramic view (to mimic the 360), it should work and simply show a verrrry large video on WebMeeting.

Thanks - I will give it a shot once I have the device. :)

We've reached out to Owl Labs to get a testing piece. If you get to test it out before we do, It would be interesting to hear how well this camera works.

We've tried it at our offices, the camera quality was very poor considering the price. A 60$ Logitech camera had much better video quality. Nothing to do with 3cx, just the device itself.

The camera auto-focus idea is kind of nice, but very buggy if there's ambient sound in the room. Also has some small delay to add a new talking person to the camera.

The phone app to control it has very limited feature. The only thing you can do is change where the camera is focusing, but cannot change delay/timers etc. You cannot remove the full-view preview in the video, which makes it look super cropped and takes away space that could be used for the auto-focus video instead.

Edit to give thoughts about it with 3cx: All in all, if you dont mind the above limitation, it's decent and it does work with 3cx, but you'd probably need to have very few video participants in the webmeeting. If the Owl is the only big-plan video in the meeting, it should be okay, but as soon as you add more video participants, the full-view cropping and the poor quality makes it very hard to see the participants. Again, this is not really 3cx's fault, but that is our experience with this camera.

Thanks for your comments. I was really interested in that product and I'm glad to hear your feedback.
Have you found an alternative similar product or a good solution combining a webcam, microphone, speaker giving good performance and easy integration?
We have a small conference room (6-10 users around an oval table) and I am looking for a good videoconference setup.
