Hi all

we're looking to install a 3CX and adopt an analogue PA system to it.

Currently it's connected to an old NEC phone system and has multiple zones.

Does anyone know which adapter is best to link 3CX and the PA system together that supports multiple zones?

I had the same issue a long time ago. I was also looking for a multizone paging adapter, but haven't found one yet. I fixed this issue by using multiple Snom PA-1 adapters and binding them in a paging group. We had 4 zones at this customer, so using 4 PA-1 adapters this was an affordable solution for the customer.

thanks. I'll know more when I get to site to see what's what.

After visiting site it turns out they just have the 1 zone.

Got an RCA cable going in to the amp so we can just put that in to a Fanvil PA2.

They have this device that acts as a switch I guess.

They've got the DAB radio and amp connected and when the PA is live the switch must flick off the DAB.

Do you know if the Fanvil PA2 (or any other PA adapter) can "switch" signals?

What do they use to turn off the DAB? The Fanvill does have a switch input and relay output, so you might be able to use that.

Yeah you might be able to reuse it, depends on how it works. Send me a message if I can help out.
