PAGING (ATA GRANDSTREAM HT812 -> VIKING RAD 1A -> VIKING PA2A)

Hi team,

We're implementing a Paging system using an ATA Grandstream HT812 and some Viking paging devices.

The ATA is correctly recognized and working on the 3CX, I added it to an ext. (see image below)



We tried 2 different ways to make the paging, the 1st one directly calling to the paging extension, it worked but at the end of the sent message it is making a 3 extra beeps like busy signals.

So, we created a ring group using paging where only that ext. will reply the message (see below), nevertheless, the same 3 busy beeps keep occurring.



I believe that with your expertise and knowledge, you've probably experienced this issue. Is this something I can fix from 3CX? Or is it an issue directly with the Viking devices? Any help or guidance you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Im wondering if its a disconnect beep from the ATA directly. Have you looked in the gui?

Hi team,

I was experiencieng the same 3 beeps after ending a call on the 3CX app, inside the app I went to Settings -> Advanced -> Play Busy Tone and I deactivated it and it worked.

Nevertheless, I was looking inside the web interface how to do the same thing to the ext. that I'm using for Paging but I couldn't find that feature as a user nor in the admin portal.

Is there an easy way like in the 3CX app to deactivate that busy tone?

I found that there is an alternative way changing the ATA template from:

<!-- # String -->
<P4002>f1=480@-24,f2=620@-24,c=500/500;</P4002>

To:

<!-- # Busy Tone -->
<!-- # String -->
<P4002>c=0/0;</P4002>

Have anyone tried this before?
