Hello again. I've been experimenting with the intercom/paging feature within 3CX to Yealink handsets. My question relates to the permission mechanism to prevent specific extensions from being able to use the intercom feature.

If I disallow intercom, then an intercom call placed from the disallowed handset to another handset is treated as a regular phone call (which seems logical to me).

The problem arises when I define a paging group (either via SIP, or Multicast RTP).

If a disallowed handset pages a group, then the page goes through. This means that any handset in our organisation could potentially broadcast across every handset, if they know the paging group number.

Am I missing something here?
