Parking SLA vs Dial Codes

I have been playing with the new SLA Parking. I have noticed the the 2 methods of parking appear to be exclusive. If I park using a BLF/Xfer key I have to use a BLF/Xfer to pick it up. If I use a dialcode to park, no blf light is lit and I have to use a dialcode to pick it up. The issue is that if you park with the 3CX assistant is seems to always use the dial code method. Have I misconfigured something?
