Is there any way to re-issue a user's web client password or reset it without also changing the Auth ID and Auth password for their IP phone(s)?

We quite often have cases where a user has forgotten their web client password and we want to re-issue it or send them a password reset email but we don't want to have to reprovision the IP phone.

That is pretty easy, the user can do it alone. Just use the forget password link.

Thank you very much. It's so obvious when you know :-( I was thinking that an admin had to do it from the admn console. Much easier for the user to do it themselves!!

In the last few versions of v20 a desk phone should see the change from the admin panel Reset button and reprovision itself to use the new password. Apps do get reset and need to be set up again though.

Plus you (or anyone) can force a password reset from the web client login page.

Anything that is properly provisioned should not need to be set up again. Although they would need to relog into the Web Client and/or PWA

Would that also apply to DECT/FXS devices? Presumably not if the only way they can be provisioned is via the device's web UI?

So just to check, is there any way to kick someone out who has a mobile app provisioned?

Edit: besides "Clear"
