PBX Express Hosted Default Password

Hi All,

Random question, is there a default password to sign into a new cloud 3cx system.

I have received the welcome email with the fqdn, public IP & username, however there was no password.

when configuring the system I was not asked to input a username or password.

Any assistance would be great.

The password should be in that email, or in the PBXExpress window during the install. It says to save it...

there is no password in the email, but luckily I haven't closed the install window yet.

@freemanmp did you restore any backup to this PBX during installation ?
Because if so, then the password is the one from your backup.

@nikosT_3cx no this is a brand new install, I have now found the password on the installation window.

But it is nice to know that the email might not always contain the password, so it is definitely worth taking a screen shot of the installation window.

@freemanmp If you try to login and type the wrong password twice option " Forgot Password " will appear which will send an email to the PBX admin ' email address.
