I was trying to do a PBX express for a new FQDN and it's started automatically and now my FQDN IP has changed to something different, i tried to remove the lightsail instance that it created but it looks like it's still changed it with yourselves. How can i change this back to the correct Ip address?

Thanks,

Anthony

My server is currently set to Static IP address and it's still working fine for now and i've changed internal DNS to point to the correct IP address but it would be great if i could find info on how to update it to the correct IP address.

Hi, switch Ip to dynamic, wait few seconds, then back to static. Should make the magic :)

Cheers, i'll have a go later on tonight when nobody is logged on because i guess it'll cause downtime! It's crazy how the PBXexpress does this with no indication or way to stop it, i guess it was because i used the same e-mail address or something.

So this will update the 3cx dns records with the previous IP address of my lightsail server?

yes if you go to your previous install (you still have access, right ?) and do this, should update the FQDN. Check with http://dnspropagation.net/ after some time :)

Cheers, i've done that so hopefully it'll update in time. Thanks!
