Hello team,

I have problem sip trunk between my old elastik and 3cx, I used extension of elastix to configure sip trunk on 3cx, when first customer call in then it forward call to 3cx is working fine, but when second customer call in is busy. Could you please help to advise the solution?

this is my topology:

SIP provider----------->SIP Trunk (IP)<-------(Elastix server)--------sip trunk (extension)------->3CX server> ------->Agent

HI @bunthoeun

Is the second call reaching 3CX or does it get cut off on the Elastix server? You can check the 3CX call log to verify or the 3CX activity log. Also why do not simplify your set up and have it be:
SIP provider------->3CX server> ------->Agent

Hi YiannisH_3CX,

Yes, of cause, The setup should be simplify, but next time while the operation too busy. Now my current topology is working after do poni to point peering between Elastix and 3CX.

Regards,

Since you are connecting a SIP trunk on 3CX to an extension on Elastix, if that extension is engaged, no other calls will be able to go through. You could try connecting the two using a Bridge trunk, which, while no longer supported by 3CX, would allow more that one call at a time. It may take some effort to get it working the way you want. You could also add a second Elastix extension, to a second 3CX trunk, allowing two calls.

Here is a like to some old information about bridging to another type of PBX.
