Personalized 3CX Meet URL

Is there a way to start a meeting with your Personalized 3CX Meet URL from the mobile app? So far I've only been able to add a new scheduled conference from the mobile app. When I put my URL into the 3CX Video Conference mobile app it says meeting not started.

If you refer to 3CX talk URL, when that one is nor the Web meeting but for the chat &/ WebRTC call.

Oleg, if a client clicks on the Meet URL, is it supposed to alert/ring/notify the 3CX user even if they do not have their own WebRTC client fired up and open?

Hi @caldwell, as mentioned on the other thread, the Meet URL is for participants to join your personal meeting room. When the organizer (the extension owner) joins the personal meeting room, the room is open for other participants to join. If the organizer is not connected, the room is closed and participants cannot join.
There is no notification on the app because the Meet URL is public and potentially it could get abused.

Thanks. That thread was also about meetings, but you have specifically answered this question which I still had.

I would like to suggest that you ask someone at 3CX to insert verbiage into this URL:

https://www.3cx.com/user-manual/talk-meet/

which makes it plain that the client/public can only Meet with you (and maybe even call you with the Talk URL) if you have the meeting room OPEN during your business day. This would make it clear how the URLs are supposed to work. Then people can choose to leave a meeting room open during a business day or not. But at least they won't have people e-mailing them saying, "Your Meet URL doesn't work."
