Personalized Caller ID Name Per Extension - Separate from internal name

Is there a way to enable a custom field for an external caller ID name per extension? We have a lot of customers requesting this and the problem of just doing it with the internal names is then the internal directory is just littered with "CompanyX Phil, CompanyX John" and it's not really conducive to sidecards or dial by name directories.

This is in reference to Canada, our providers have no trouble passing on any compliant CNAM

I have found, on occasion (and every situation will be different), that a name farthest from the provider (first sent), will override the subsequent names. So, if you put a name in the phone, that may override a name set, in 3CX, against the extension. No guarantees.
