Just set up 3cx hosted solution
When a call is answered by a member of the ring group the Androd and iOS phone apps continue to ring.

This happens when the phones are connected to the WiFi. When they are on 5g it is fine.

They really need to be on the WiFi so any thing I can do to improve it?

We use a Draytek router.

Thanks

Solution
Hi guys, managed to fix it by doing this on iPhones as it was happening in and outside the office:

Settings > Apps > Use the search function to search and open 3CX
1: Notifications > Toggled off and on "Time Sensitive Notifications"
2: Show preview - set to Always

Android was allowing full battery optimisation

Thanks for all your help
Hi @cam you may try implementing DSCP tag 46 in the router/firewall/access points for prioritizing the 3cx apps and use a good internet provider, this could be a delay issue when using the wifi connection compared to 5G.

@cam - focusing on "the WiFi" part...

If you move the phone to some other WiFi, say a simple home WiFi with no fancy rules for inbound/outbound traffic, just plain vanilla setup, does the problem persist?

Hi Kevin, not tried that but will have a go. 3cx has replaced an app called Call Switch which did not have any issues. The router hasnt got any fancy routing though.

When you do give it a go, make sure that the home router is a plain jane device, not draytek, and no SIP/telephony features on it. IT shouldn't really make a difference to the iOS/Android device, but I'm trying to keep the number of variables to a minimum.

I am at home and did not have the issue but will ask other staff members to test.

If it is the Draytek, what options do I have?

iOS :
Have your firewall’s outbound rules updated to allow what Apple recommendsz
https://support.apple.com/en-us/102266

Android :
Have your network configuration updated to allow outbound TCP ports 5228–5230 and 443 so Firebase Cloud Messaging can properly deliver push notifications.

Thanks guys, if the devices are reciving the original calls does that mean they are getting the push notifications?

The answer is yes, but it's an incomplete answer, because...

...the push for "ringing" is reaching the phone, but the push for "stop ringing" is NOT, in your "draytek" world.
