Hi,

Running the latest build of 3CX on Debian and I can everything to work apart from phone provisioning URLs.
When trying to add a Cisco SPA504G phone to a user the provisioning URL is generated but when browsing to this address nothing shows.

Any ideas?

We had the same issue when testing the Windows version. As a test, any phone model I choose gives a URL but they never work. The address is valid but it is as if the dynamic config files and directories aren't being created.

Hello @Joe.d

Is the installation local or remote to the phones? Is the provisioning link correct? Do you see the correct ip or FQDN in the provisioning link?
To see if the provisioning link is valid try download the config file from a browser in the same LAN as the phone.
For Cisco devices the link should be something like: http://<IP_Address>:5000/provisioning/<Random_Folder>/$MA.xml

To get the config file replace the "$MA" with the mac address of the phone as it is setup under the phones provisioning settings.

Please note that if the url is http and you are trying to download the config file from a remote location this will fail as Nginx does not accept http requests.

Hi @YiannisH_3CX

This is a local installation over the local LAN. This provisioning URL is using the local LAN IP of the 3CX install which can be accessed from the phone. It just seems that the install isn't generating the config file or directory file.

If I replace $MA with the mac address . xml I get a 404 Page not found.

URL tried
http://10.10.3.XX/provisioning/cubibxgrk4/CCEF485D4262.xml

I can reach the 3CX install perfectly on its IP over https / http.

@Saqqara @YiannisH_3CX I have also ensured the correct firmware files are in the provisioning directory.
After configuring a phone this is all I see...

The Firmware directory contains all the necessary Cisco XML firmware files.

Please ensure that the local IP in the provisioning link is the actual IP of the 3CX PBX and nothing has changed. Also are you using the default 3CX template or a custom one?

@YiannisH_3CX The IP is the correct one for the 3CX. Nothing has changed as this is a clean install.
We also are using only default templates, nothing special or custom.

The mac address in your link does not look like a Cisco SPA phone mac address. Can you make sure that you are using the correct MAC address?

@YiannisH_3CX I can confirm that the MAC address being entered into 3CX is correct - CCEF485D4262

What port did you use when you were installing the system?

In that case i would recommend creating a ticket with our support department as they will need to take a look at the system configuration and logs to determine what is causing the issue.
