Hello!!

I found the following thread with the same question: other thread, however I proposed the idea of call parking spots to the employees I'm setting this system up for and they said if they have to do that, they may as well just transfer the call.

I'm wondering, if I'm open to doing whatever needs to be done, no matter how extensive; is there a way to simply tap the extension that put the call on hold to answer it?
This is how their old system was setup and they told me they were extremely happy with that feature and would very much like to have it back.

If you can transfer a call directly, then that might be the best way to handle this. However, if the call is parked so that an announcement can be made, and the called party can then pick up the call from anywhere, then you might consider something like this.

Create some unused "dummy" extensions, in sequence, like 500, 501, 502 etc. In the call forwarding rules, forward each to SP0, SP1,SP2, etc.
When you do a transfer to 500, the call will be parked in SP0, and can be picked up by the intended party by dialing 500.
