Placing an adhoc conference call

Hello All,

so far i am very impressed with the 3cx system. but there are a few niggles i am trying to look into,.
conferencing - i can place a conference at a later date which isnt an issue however when i try do start a converence NOW i never get presented whit a conference PIN. if i schedule one later by an hour i get a conference pin.

the issue is my client does just randomly want to have a conference. and on the old system (mitel) they had one pin that he would just email to the participants.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are actually a few ways to do this. If you go through the conference menu you can add either emails or numbers.
If you add emails the participants will receive an email with the conference number they should dial (if configured) and the conference ID. No pin is required as the conference room will be started and the initiator will be added into the conference room waiting.
If numbers are added then the PBX has the ability to call the numbers and automatically add them to the conference room. The option " Call participants when the audio conference starts" must be enabled under the conference settings in the management console.
You could also dial a participant with a normal call and press the conference button to add the participants into a conference call.
