Good Afternoon Colleagues
I hope you are doing well . I have installed 3CX V18 under windows on premise at one of my customers . May i know if we are play recorded audio without downloading it ?

Best Regards

Regarding your question, this is not possible I'm afraid. Recordings need to be downloaded to be played.

You can provision an extension on the PBX, when you go to the audio you can press play and choose the extension you have set up.

As kieferschild has said, they can be played to an extension's webclient with access to recordings. But not from the management console. As long as recordings are not archived.

Thx Charles & Kieferschild for your replies . If i have call queue configuration and if i login to webclient using call queue manager extension , From call queue manager extension , Can i view the recorded calls received to agents of this queue ?

Best Regards

I dont believe so. You'd need to give your Q manager rights to view group recordings and make sure the extensions are grouped together.

Thx for your replay . I have assigned Q manager the required rights and when i click "Play on Phone" locally (inside LAN) , The recorded call sent to Q manager phone and can be played successfully.

When outside the LAN , I login using FQDN but when i click "Play on Phone" , The recorded call sent to Q manager phone but no audio heared so kindly advice.

Best Regards

Does audio work at all outside lan? Can you make a phone call or use echo test?

Good Afternoon Kieferschild
Thx for your replay. It seems that either SBC is required to allow calls to outside LAN or using legacy 3CX softphone to activate 3CX tunnel .

Best Regards
