Hello, I am new to 3CX. I am dealing with 3CX for the first time.
I am a beginner, please tell me what to do.

I would like to set up an agent to read a queue to an agent like Amazonconnect.

The reason for this is that I have two different company numbers, each with a different company name.
To use them in different ways requires this kind of setup.

We don't have many operators and don't want to separate them by flying them to different departments, etc.

Set up your inbound rules per number to go to a different destination such as a digital receptionist or a queue with seperate prompts.

You could name each queue Company 1 and Company 2 and have this prepend to the CLI when the agent receives the call.

This way the agent will know which company has been called.

Thanks for the reply.
Please tell me a little more about it.
I have solved the problem up to the point of creating individual queues, but I don't know how to, er, playback audio.
Is it possible to do it with no code? I am a beginner.

Out-of-the-box 3CX won't do an audible alert, to an agent, with call information. The name you add to a DID, or queue, can be set to show as a part of the caller ID when the call is presented to the agent. So they would have to look at the display, to see which company the caller is attempting to reach and answer accordingly.

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it very much.

So you are judging by the display and not the audio?

Is there any way to play the prompt to the agent, with audio?

While 3CX cannot do this out-of-the-box, it is possible with a little custom development. I encourage you to take a look at our 3CX Wrap-up Codes tool. This tool pops up whenever you receive an inbound call. It displays as much information as we can gather about the call -- Caller ID name and number, number the caller dialed, if it came through a queue, the name of the queue, etc. We could easily add the ability to play audio, using text-to-speech, and include any information you need.

... and at the same time, you can also record the results/purpose of the call by selecting a wrap-up code and by entering notes into the popup.
