Plugins possible for v18?

We have currently V16 running and we have developed a custom plugin for the V16 client on Windows.
When we receive a call, we search in our internal ERP - SQL Server database for the phone number and show the customer and some more information about the customer.
Is that still possible with V18?

You can still use the "old" legacy Windows client just like you currently do and it will still work.

However, this will not work with the new DesktopApp.

What you could alternatively use (if your software is web-based) is take advantage of the CRM Integration (which has been enhanced a lot in V18) or the simple Open URL of the DesktopApp, just like the Webclient.

Thanks for the answer.
The software we use isn't web based and I don't want to depend my workflow on the "old" client.
It won't work anymore in the future.

Hi @Marc Fauser,

I would be remiss not to mention that the "old" Windows Client has not been deprecated in any way till now. It isn't "old" and is still very functional. Feel free to use it, as I don't see it being deprecated in the near future.
