I have an IP301 and when I dial out or answer a call, it will show the CID on the Line1 line, and again with "sip(CID)" on the Line2 below... how can I disable showing that sip message on that second line? I have two extensions going to the phone, and I'm not sure it will show another incoming call on the second extension?
I have x1000 and x1001 set up on that phone, but just want to be able to put one call on hold and answer another call if need be. I'd like to see the second CID on that x1001 display line when it's ringing. I don't want the "call waiting tone", I would like the ringer to just start ringing again while I'm on the phone.
I'm convinced it's just a setting somewhere in the sip.cnf or the (network addr)reg.cnf that I'm missing. Can someone direct me to that?
