Poor incoming audio on Android 10 on Samsung A90 5G

Hi,

I have the above phone on Android 10. For a few weeks now I have noticed poor inbound audio, the quality of the voice is distorted, words clipped and sometimes whole words vanish. The person at the other end no matter what can hear me fine. I have installed the BETA client to no avail. No matter what connection I am on, WiFi, Leased Line, DSL, UniFi etc etc.

The Trunk uses A-Law only so I set that as primary for the extension Client properties as a test.

Calls to/from a Windows soft client on the same system are better.

This is 16.0.6.655 Pro on a brand new OVH instance in the cloud. I have noted that connecting to other 3cx instances has exactly the same issue on this phone, I don't have another android device to test on right now.

Any ideas what could cause this?

We don't have this specific device model but we did some testing on similar Samsung test devices and cannot reproduce the issue you are reporting. Please PM me to assist you in troubleshooting.
