Good Afternoon.
I've come across something interesting. So far my observation is a difference between update 8 and update 9, however it also appears to be an issue with Yealink T3 series handsets.
I have a customer who operates 3 different brands. I want to tag the inbound CLID with the trunk name. I've done this in the past with no issue. What I've noticed is for some reason on update 9, the tag works in the App and show in the call logs. However it doesn't appear on the phone's display. I've tested with Fanvil X4U-V2, X210-V2, and Yealink T58.
My T58 works just fine our our server (V18 u8) but as soon as I move it to my customer's server the caller ID doesn't tag properly. The name should appear as "Line Tag": CLID name or number. I have it set to prepend the Queue or DID/DDI Names to Caller ID, but it only appears in the apps and the system logs. If I provision one of the phones on our server (v18 u8) it works and the prepended name appears.
I'm also running the phones through an X210-V2 router phone, i don't think this has anything to do with it but just noting it. Our server we're using a Pi as our SBC.
Has anyone else noticed this? Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
