I have elastix 1.6.xx. I need to set something like presence or activity monitor/detector for caller.
If somebody call an extension and the target extension is bussy or nobody answer the call, caller puts some code and the system send him back the notification or call back when the target user will make some activity e.g. pick up the phone.

This notification should be send to the caller phone as phone call or txt info. I use GXP 2100 phones.

Does somebody has implemented such a function? Maybe it is possible by some freepbx module?
Any ideas?

I don't know if this will help you, but there may be some alternate solutions to what you're asking about. One option would be to allow your users to use the Flash Operator Panel. This can show your user if the destination extension is on a call or is set to DND. But neccessarily away. Second option might be to use OpenFire IM server integrated into the Elastix product. OpenFire along with the asterisk plugin can give your users status availability. The drawback here is, if the destination user sits at there desk without touching there computer, then after an idle time, they'll be marked as away when they're actually there. However, if your users are using OpenFire, then they have the added benefit of Instant Messaging each other, for example, "hey jack, i need to talk to you, are you there?"

Anyway, I hope this might be useful.
