  • Symptom: External inbound calls route to ring group 800 but do not ring members 100 and 101. The caller immediately hears “Record your message and press # or press * to contact the operator.”
  • Configuration checked: Ring All, 25 seconds, members 100 and 101, no exceptions, correct office hours, correct department and registered Available extensions.
  • Call Reports: Inbound calls show 00:00:00 and destination ring group 800.
  • Activity Log: CM503012 routes the call to DN 800, followed by RingAll:800, no visible member legs, and CallerTerminated.
  • Still unknown: Why the ring group does not create member legs and where the voicemail transfer occurs.

Try to call RG800 from an extension(internal call), does it ring to the ring group users?

And what phones/apps etc do those extensions have? Can you call them directly?
